Wharton Update
MONTHLY NEWS AND HIGHLIGHTS October 2009
Digital media is everywhere at Wharton. With Google, the SEI Center for Advanced Studies in Management has launched a YouTube channel that will serve as an interactive forum on the future of advertising. Meanwhile, the Wharton Interactive Media Initiative has partnered with ESPN to pursue data-driven solutions to the challenges that currently face multimedia entertainment companies. Even our student start-ups are pushing boundaries. Givology, an education charity founded by Wharton undergraduates, uses social networking techniques to engage donors in their cause. Everywhere in business, models are changing to accommodate new media, while the greater Wharton community continues to lead the way.
