Knowledge@Wharton to Offer Audio Editions of Award-Winning Online Business Journal

PHILADELPHIA, PA, May 15, 2005 — Knowledge@Wharton, the online research and business analysis journal of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania announces that Adobe Systems Inc. and Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd will serve as lead sponsors for the launch of the publication’s new audio edition on Audible.com. Subscribers of Knowledge@Wharton, which is free to registered users, will gain access to the audio version, also free of charge, via the Audible.com Subscription Center (www.audible.com/subscriptions). There, they can download editions over the Internet, and listen wherever and whenever it is convenient. The audio edition of Knowledge@Wharton can be played on most portable digital audio players including the Apple iPod?, can be downloaded on a CD, or listened through a computer audio program such as Real Player.

Each month the audio edition of Knowledge@Wharton will deliver analysis of current business issues; coverage of conferences, seminars, and CEO presentation; book reviews and insights from the latest Wharton research papers. The audio edition of Knowledge@Wharton will consist of two feature articles from the online edition in their entirety, as well as summaries of the publication’s other stories.

Sponsorship of Knowledge@Wharton’s audio edition is the latest in a long history of collaborative efforts between Adobe and Wharton to expand and enrich the way information is shared and distributed. Wharton’s advanced technology group has been involved with Adobe for more than 10 years, being one of the first champions of Adobe’s Acrobat software and Portable Document Format (PDF) that provide individuals and businesses with secure, reliable electronic document distribution and exchange.
