Wharton Executive MBA Program Hosts West Coast Receptions
Prospective Students Welcomed in California, Arizona, Colorado, and Utah

December 1, 2004 — West Coast executives have eight upcoming opportunities to learn more about the Wharton School’s unique MBA Program for Executives. The Program will host receptions with alumni, students, and staff in Salt Lake City, San Diego, Scottsdale, Silicon Valley, San Francisco, and Denver.

Since 2001, the world-renowned Wharton School has offered the same high level of executive MBA education on the west coast as on its Philadelphia campus at the University of Pennsylvania.

The difference? The Wharton MBA Program for Executives is designed for working executives in the western U.S. and Pacific regions who want to earn their MBA in California. It is delivered in an executive format at a state-of-the-art academic facility in San Francisco's business district.

The program has alumni in all the areas that it will visit, working for over 400 companies in every industry, from Microsoft and Citigroup to Aetna and Amgen to Boeing and Disney.

At Wharton West, courses are taught by professors drawn from the Wharton School's 260 standing and associated faculty in 11 departments. With more professors conducting research across more disciplines than at any other business school in the world, Wharton brings unmatched depth and breadth in management education to its executive MBA program in California.

About Wharton West and The Wharton School
Founded in 1881 as the first collegiate business school in the United States, the Wharton School has approximately 4,600 undergraduate, MBA, and doctoral students, more than 8,000 participants in its executive education programs annually, and an alumni network of more than 80,000 worldwide. The executive MBA program was one of the first programs launched at Wharton West, the School’s campus in San Francisco. Executive MBA students attend classes on alternate weekends and during two week-long sessions in the summer. Students based in San Francisco have the option of spending a semester at Wharton’s Philadelphia campus, and Philadelphia-based students have the opportunity to study at Wharton West.
