Wharton
125 Events
Showcasing the School’s leadership in business thought and
practice, the Wharton 125 anniversary events are planned in more
than 20 cities across the globe through June 2007. These events
include the Wharton Economic Summit, the 125th Anniversary Faculty
Tour, and the Global Alumni Forums. Visit
the Wharton 125 website to see a full list of events.
The
Wharton Story
The Wharton School was founded in 1881 – the first school
established at a university for the study of business and the
preparation of business leaders. Throughout our history, the Wharton
School has served the global business community and continues
today as the most comprehensive source of business knowledge in
the world. Visit the Wharton 125 website to learn more about the
history of the School.
Nominate
a Leader
Help celebrate 125 influential Wharton leaders by nominating someone
you feel should be included in this notable group. Joseph Wharton’s
goal was for his school to produce leaders in business, public
service and moral character. Visit the Wharton 125 web site to
nominate someone who you think best embodies this vision.
Sharing
the Spirit
The new Wharton 125 logo allows the Wharton community to share the
spirit of the Wharton 125 anniversary. The logo will soon be available for downloading from the Wharton 125 website.
