As the world continues to experience the turbulence of the Wall Street financial crisis,
we are responding by drawing upon the knowledge and experience of our faculty and alumni.
On September 16 we hosted a faculty teach-in with more than 1,000 students in attendance.
Knowledge@Wharton organized two faculty panels and the Lauder Program hosted a faculty
panel to discuss how foreign countries have addressed recent turbulence in their financial
markets. Our career management and alumni affairs teams are working collaboratively to
reach out to students and alumni with assistance. We will continue to monitor the situation
and respond accordingly, offering the most up to date analysis, information, and assistance
that we can provide to our Wharton community. Dean Thomas S. Robertson
