A truly global presence through our engagement in the world and the audience we reach
In today's economy, business crosses borders and so does Wharton. A global business leader, the School offers core curricula and specialized programs that address international concerns. A diverse student body and faculty create a cross-cultural community that extends to more than 77,000 alumni around the world.
International Community
Wharton attracts students and faculty from around the world more than 37 percent of the MBA class is international in origin. Our alumni currently live in 139 countries on six continents, reconnecting through 79 alumni clubs more than 40 of which are located outside the U.S. and through annual Global Alumni Forums, which bring faculty, alumni, policy makers, and business executives together. In 2004, meetings will be held in Moscow, Shanghai, and Mexico City. Wharton was the first school to establish executive advisory boards in Europe, Middle East, and Africa; Asia; and Latin America to assist with school strategy in their respective regions.

Worldwide Reach
Already situated in the center of U.S. business activity in the U.S. Northeast Corridor, Wharton has extended its international footprint to open Wharton West on the Pacific and forge the Alliance with INSEAD to create a worldwide academic network. In 2003 Wharton West's first class of graduate students earned their MBAs, and the center continues to expand the wide range of executive education programs offered in the state-of-the-art academic facility.
