"About Wharton" Text
The following "About the Wharton School" text, also known as the "Wharton boilerplate," is a brief paragraph that provides a broad overview of the School. Including this paragraph in all your communications will add depth to your message and help extend the Wharton brand.
All communications, including invitations, should include the boilerplate text, with the title, "About the Wharton School." The text should be positioned so that it is noticeable to the reader.

When possible, please follow these recommendations for placement:
- In printed materials: The Wharton boilerplate text should be displayed prominently within your publication. If you are producing a brochure, we recommend that this information be placed on the inside front cover.
- On websites: We recommend that you include this message on the homepage or include a link to it titled, "About the Wharton School."
- In correspondence: See Writing Business Correspondence for adding the Wharton boilerplate to correspondence.
Customizing the "ABOUT WHARTON" Copy
Sometimes you may need to add information about your initiative/program. Include your program-specific description in a second paragraph, as shown in the Executive Education example below.
