logo usage guide

Proper use and placement of the logo will ensure the brand integrity and messaging continuity of the Wharton identity. You should carefully review this guide before using the logo. Be sure to refer any outside designers to this webpage.

Logo Usage

Logo placement

  • Allow clearance space all around the logo. This will ensure that the logo will stand out.
  • The minimum clearance is shown in the illustration below as 'h' (measured from the base to the top of the "W").

Logo Color Combinations on a Background

two-color logo options

We encourage the use of the two-color logo against a white background. If a white background is not possible, pick a color against which the reverse full-color logo will stand out.

On single-color jobs where neither Wharton Blue nor black is available the logo may appear in a color other than Wharton Blue or black. But, in this situation, the logo should appear in 100% of that color or knocked-out. components of the Wharton logo

Do use the Wharton logo by itself. Don't "tie in" any business names, product names, slogans, theme lines, or other phrases with the Wharton logo.
