Design Guide

Imagery

Images demonstrate the energy and vitality of our community more quickly than words. In this section you will understand how you can tell the Wharton story through images.

Images should reinforce the stature of the School as a global leader in business knowledge and education. If you do not have strong images, we recommend that you use a graphical treatment, or in the case of video, use a combination of graphics and audio.

attentionRequesting a Photograph: Please review the Photo Gallery. To retain the power of these images it is everyone's responsibility to ensure that they are used appropriately and only to represent the School.

Telling the Wharton Story in Images

1. Wharton images should represent the diversity of the School's global community. See the Photo Gallery for examples.
2. Images should show the energy and vitality of the community. For example, it is better to show a professor actively giving a talk, than sitting quietly at the podium.
3. Focus your efforts on taking images that demonstrate the unique features of your initiative/program.
4. Campus images should show an engaged community and a vibrant environment.
5. Keep in mind the School's three foundational values and select images that represent examples of these values.
