Wharton | San Francisco embodies the innovative, entrepreneurial spirit of the Wharton School in one of the world’s most vibrant cities. The dynamic new space is located in historic Hills Plaza, located along the Bay on the Embarcadero. The Hills Plaza facility expands the campus by over 30 percent.
Classrooms
Hills Plaza classrooms are designed to deliver the leading-edge, technology-rich environment that is a hallmark of the Wharton School, and incorporates state-of-the-art communications technology with videoconferencing and immersive communications capabilities. This advanced technology will empower Wharton | San Francisco to achieve an unprecedented level of interactive, real-time outreach and engagement across the two campuses and with the business community in the United States and abroad.
In addition to serving instructional needs, the 150-seat classroom and two 75-seat classrooms will serve Wharton alumni and wider business communities as the venues for a wide range of events and programs.
Common Areas
Wharton | San Francisco’s executive students attend classes, study and dine together — regular interactions that foster a tightly-knit community. As comfortable, attractive spaces for informal meetings, the Hills Plaza Lobby and Dining Hall areas will promote socializing and networking, and facilitate the formation of close professional and personal bonds.
Faculty Spaces
Wharton faculty travel from Philadelphia to San Francisco each week to teach MBA Program for Executives courses, ensuring that Wharton | San Francisco delivers the undiluted Wharton MBA experience and degree. The new faculty spaces will accommodate visting faculty's research and teaching activities, providing them with all the resources they need to develop and disseminate new knowledge.
Group Study and Conference Rooms
A signature advantage of the Wharton MBA Program for Executives is the opportunity for students to interact closely with classmates — extraordinary men and women from diverse backgrounds and fields — through learning teams, group projects and out-of-classroom interactions. The group study rooms encourage collaboration and facilitate group work, key to the learning methods pioneered by Wharton.
