At a special women’s event, alumna Connie Duckworth, WG'79, founder of the non-profit ARZU, Inc., and retired partner and managing director of Goldman Sachs, shared her story about success in business, managing career goals in a man’s world, giving back to others and mentoring women around the world.

- Extrapolating the Past vs. Investing the Future: Andrew Chung, a partner at Khosla Ventures, shared and discussed his insights on the future of energy.
- The Incubation Game: Duncan Logan, founder and CEO of "techcelerator" RocketSpace, spoke with students about strategies to secure incubator space for budding entrepreneurial ventures.
- Macro trends in the investment environment: Heather Gates-Massoudi of Delloite Venture Services visited campus to discuss with students the venture capital industry, with focus in particular on Silicon Valley.
- Idea to Scale: Navigating the Path to Clean Tech Success: Dr. Rao Mulpuri, Chief Executive Officer of Soladigm, discussed with students his company's highly energy-efficient Dynamic Glass, which switches from clear to tinted on demand.
- Smarter, cleaner ways to power the world: Gregg Rotenberg, who heads up Chevron Energy Solutions, spoke to current students during a recent lunch hour about Chevron’s answer to sustainability and clean energy.
