Wharton | San Francisco serves as an alumni home base for the entire West Coast Wharton community. Always ready to “take the call,” the Wharton alumni community creates an unparalleled global resource of personal and professional connections that extends worldwide through Wharton’s online alumni resources.
The campus brings together alumni from not only its resident program but also the undergraduate, full-time MBA and Philadelphia MBA for Executives programs, and it hosts speakers and events, including panels and workshops hosted by Wharton Entrepreneurial Programs. Nearly 12,000 Wharton alumni live and work in the West Coast region
- More than 700 alumni have graduated from Wharton | San Francisco’s MBA for Executives Program.
- Wharton’s global network of 88,000 alumni includes 5,700 alumni in Asia
- Wharton has 15 active clubs in Australia, China, India, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, and other countries across the region.
Global Alumni Forum
In June 2011, Wharton | San Francisco welcomed the world as the site of the Global Alumni Forum, hosting more than 700 alumni to help celebrate the 10th year of Wharton’s West Coast presence. The 40th Global Alumni Forum, themed "Creative Solutions for Global Challenges," featured business thought leaders including Wharton alumni and faculty, as well as industry mavericks from throughout the world. The San Francisco event marked the first time the Forum was held in a domestic location.
Reunion
Wharton | San Francisco alumni attended their first reunion for graduates of the San Francisco program to supplement the all-alumni event in Philadelphia in the spring. On October 23, 2010, a packed house of more than 400 Wharton | San Francisco MBA grads, current students, and their guests celebrated Reunion 2010 at Le Meridien, their Wharton home throughout their MBA program.
