Curriculum
Pre-Term
A unique program designed to ensure that the diverse incoming class begins the Fall term with a consistent level of introductory knowledge. Pre-Term, which begins in August*, offers coursework in financial accounting, microeconomics, statistics and financial analysis at different levels.
Core Courses
Core curriculum provides groundwork in basic management disciplines: economics, finance, financial and cost accounting, governmental and legal environment of business, management science, managing people, marketing, operations management, statistics, and strategy. The core also includes courses on leadership, ethics, and management communication.
Global Immersion
This program is an optional half-credit elective that provides first-year MBA students with an in-depth exposure to international business practices and first-hand insights into a foreign culture.
MBA Majors and Course Index
All MBA students are required to fulfill the course requirements of at least one major. The program offers 17 MBA majors. Five credit units, specified by the academic department, are required for most majors.
