Naveed M. Hussain, WG'03
“When you sign up for this program, the learning doesn't stop outside the classroom. There is a virtual learning environment called webCafé, and I got together with my study team during the weeks we were not in class. It is really a full immersion. You are learning all the time during the two-year program.”

Academic Facilities
In 2002, Wharton opened Jon M. Huntsman Hall, a 320,000-square-foot building designed for the unique needs of Wharton's learning system and the integration of innovative learning technologies across the School. The West Coast Folger Building has been fully renovated with similar facilities — technologically equipped classrooms, computer labs, group study rooms, common spaces, and faculty offices. Classrooms in both Philadelphia and San Francisco, designed with faculty input to maximize learning, are connected to each other and the world, including video conferencing in every study room. From online collaboration tools to high-tech classrooms and multi-media business simulations, technology at Wharton is integral to the School's dynamic learning and community environment.
Enhancing collaboration for our MBA students, webCafé expands on campus time by keeping conversations going via the Internet — for example, setting up private rooms for team members to discuss project strategies or class-wide rooms for discussions of general issues affecting all students.
WAVE gives you access to Wharton's alumni database and worldwide alumni community, with the power to search for alumni by industry or location, explore the worldwide club network, register for regional and student conferences, and pursue career management information.
Wharton's Lippincott Library, part of the University of Pennsylvania's library system, offers extensive resources for business research, including online information references and document delivery services for faculty and students.
With WRDS, Wharton's web-based data management service, faculty, researchers, and students can query and retrieve information from a wide variety of databases across multiple disciplines. More than 150 leading educational and governmental institutions worldwide currently license WRDS from Wharton, including Northwestern, Stanford, Harvard, Columbia, and the University of Chicago.
