Heather Vanderhoof, WG'07
“Wharton offers a top educational experience that invites you to interact with other executives who are established in their careers and in doing so, allows you to build business networks and make new friendships. The excellence of the administration has been central to my experience. They take care of the logistics so we can focus on our studies while we're there.”

Wharton EMBA students receive more administrative support than students in traditional full-time MBA programs.
For Students
Recognizing the special time constraints on students in the MBA Program for Executives, the program staff assembles your course packs, books, and other program materials, so that you are not spending time in lines. They handle issues related to tuition payments and parking permits. They act as liaisons between students and faculty. From their knowledge of the program and the area, as well as their experience with past students, they can anticipate the challenges you'll face and help smooth the way and make the details a little less demanding.
For Partners and Families
Jugglers, baseball games, ice skating, dinners on the town, trips to the aquarium... While you won't find these listed in the academic calendar, these special events are part of the program.
Visiting campus for an afternoon or evening gives your partners and families a better picture of where you're spending every other weekend. Some special programs are planned for the whole family; others offer the chance to spend time with a partner, spouse, or close friend. Spouses and families can also make arrangements to stay with students on regular program nights.
In addition to planning the programs for partners and families, the staff supports a wide range of work and family issues. They get to know students and their families personally, becoming an integral part of your Wharton community.
