Joy Quinn, WG'07
“It was a rainy January day when I visited. I sat in on a marketing class and an operations class. Looking at the interaction and listening to the types of questions that were being asked was the seller for me. I had read a lot of great things about Wharton, but just coming here and feeling the atmosphere, I immediately knew this was where I needed to be.”

Brian Atkinson, WG'07
“My advice to a prospective student is to visit the school even before you complete your application. Having been to the classes and met the students, I was able to get an understanding of what Wharton is actually like, and I think that came across in my essays.”

Visit the Wharton EMBA Campus
The best way to judge whether Wharton will be a good fit for you is to learn more about it firsthand. Many of our current students made up their minds about whether to apply to Wharton immediately after meeting with students and faculty during a visit to the program.
Campus Visits
We encourage you to spend at least a half day with us — either before or after submitting your application — to sit in on a class, have lunch, and ask questions of current students.
A note about interview timing: Don't wait! You do not need to have an application on file to schedule an interview.
Plan your visit in conjunction with an interview to save traveling to campus more than once. The staff member who schedules your appointment can explain what activities or events are available to you while you are on campus. Of course, you can also visit the campus and schedule an interview at separate times. In either case, you need to contact us so that we can make the necessary arrangements for you.

A note about timing your visit. Typically, classes are held on Fridays and Saturdays throughout the calendar year, in both Philadelphia and San Francisco. There are occasional extended weekends that include Wednesday and Thursday classes, and some holiday weekends when no classes are scheduled. The staff member who schedules your visit can help advise you of dates that will provide you with the best opportunities to sit in on classes and talk with students.
Information Receptions
Each fall, the Wharton MBA Program for Executives hosts information receptions both on campus and in cities around the U.S. In addition to staff and faculty, Wharton alumni and students are on hand to give their perspectives and help answer your questions. For the current schedule of receptions, see Admissions Events.
