Executive MBA Student Perspectives
Hamilton Chu, WG'07

“I think for everybody there is a level of personal transformation, which is the real value in the program. I've seen this in a lot of people — you just get a different perspective on the world and on yourself going through it. You just change. You realize that there are things you can consider that you wouldn't have considered before. You have capabilities that you may not have had — or realized you had — before.”

EMBA Admissions Process

At Wharton we understand the investment you will make in applying to graduate business schools, and our goal is to provide you with the information you need to make an informed choice. We encourage you to take advantage of opportunities to talk to alumni, current students, faculty, and members of the Admissions Committee by attending an information reception and/or visiting Wharton. At any time during the application process, you can schedule an interview with the executive MBA Admissions staff. In fact, we encourage you to interview before you submit your online application.

This section offers a comprehensive guide to application requirements, including essays, interviews, and the GMAT.

Students bring a wide range of experiences to their studies at Wharton, but there are some minimum qualifications for executive MBA candidates.

You do not need to have submitted an application in order to schedule an interview. The interview can be an important part of your own research into programs, and we encourage you to put an interview on your calendar sooner rather than later.

In addition to the admissions decisions timeline, this section includes information on tranfer credit and deferred admissions.

Get to know the members of the Admissions Committee who also manage the program and admissions process.

Find out the requirements for reapplying to the program.
