Curriculum

Depth, breadth, and options distinguish the Wharton MBA curriculum. The comprehensive core builds a strong general management foundation, and from there, you and your classmates choose from among one of the world's widest selections of MBA electives to further your functional knowledge and strengthen your strategic decision-making abilities. The experience and knowledge that more senior participants bring to the executive MBA program adds another dimension to the learning environment.

EMBA Curriculum Structure

The first-year core curriculum creates a foundation of general management skills. In the second year, students in each cohort build on this foundation by choosing a set of elective courses from the School's extensive offerings. More »

EMBA Core Curriculum

Wharton's core curriculum combines fundamental management knowledge with courses in essential skills for senior-level management, such as leadership, ethics, and management communication. More »

EMBA Elective Courses

Wharton's wide range of faculty expertise allows for an extensive offering of nearly 200 electives, from which executive MBA students select a subset of 25-30 courses. More »
