5:45 - 7:15 Wake-up. Get ready for the day. Check CNBC to see where the futures markets are trading. Check morning e-mails. 
7:15 - 8:00 Leave for campus. Read the Wall Street Journal on the train into town. 
8:00 - 9:00 Arrive at campus. Spend a hour studying today’s cases and completing homework assignments. 
9:00 - 12:00 Attend morning classes. Discuss WalMart’s international expansion in Global Strategy. Listen to Jeremy Siegel analyze the government’s plan for stabilizing the banking sector in Macroeconomics. 
12:00 - 1:00 Lunch. Attend a presentation by Bob Doll of BlackRock on the state of the economy and capital markets. Organized by the Investment Management Club.  
1:30 - 3:00 Attend afternoon classes. Learn how to craft effective marketing strategies for products in declining industries. 
3:00 - 4:30 Check the markets prior to the close. Catch up on e-mails. Study for the Operations mid-term tomorrow.  
4:30 - 6:00 Attend a presentation by two senior attorneys from Kirkland & Ellis on the legal aspects of Private Equity. Analyze the Clear Channel Entertainment deal that went bust in 2008.  
6:00 - 7:00 Dinner. 
7:00 - 8:00 Head down to the intramural fields to compete in the flag football playoffs. 
8:00 - 8:45 Catch the train back home. Read economic commentary by David Rosenberg and investment strategy by Rich Bernstein from Merrill Lynch’s Research Department.  
8:45 - 9:15 Arrive home. Catch up with my wife Lori and read bedtime stories to my two girls Lucy & Sarah. (3 yrs & 10 months). 
9:15 Review the results from our learning team’s SABRE marketing simulation. Send out a summary e-mail to teammates outlining next round’s strategy.
