DAY IN THE LIFE SCHEDULE: JORGE CRUZ

7:30 - 8:30 My alarm sounds and my two year old wakes up shouting “Milk!!!” my 4 years old follows. I have breakfast with my wife and hurry to not be late. 
8:45 - 9:00 I enjoy the fresh morning air in the streets of Center City, riding my bike to school.  
9:00 - 10:20 Class: Global Strategy (MGMT 654). Some cohort classmates present companies from their countries that are successful internationally. The professor teaches one more “framework” for global industry analysis!  
10:30 - 11:50 Class: Macroeconomics and Financial Markets (FNCE 602). Professor Siegel gives his superb 20 min market commentary and we follow with a lecture about exchange rates. 
11:50 - 1:30 I grab something quick to eat with a friend and then read the mini case for the following Supply Chain class.  
1:30 - 2:50 Class: Supply Chain (OPIM 632). We learn why Blockbuster Video and Netflix made a 50%-50% revenue sharing with publishing companies and learned about optimal pricing 
3:00 - 3:45 I go print some forms, fill them up and take it to the International Student Services to get my legal paperwork approved to work during my summer internship. 
3:45 - 6:30 I work in my part for the Advance Corporate Finance (FNCE 728) case and send it via e-mail to my group. I catch up with 100+ e-mails. 
6:30 - 9:00 I ride my bike back home and meet my wife and kids in Rittenhouse square. We go back home, feed my kids and put them into bed. 
9:00 - 10:00 My wife and I have dinner watching the last chapter of Lost (when are these guys going to give us a clue of what’s going on!!)  
10:00 - 1:00 I read a case for Marketing Strategy and answer some questions online. I work a little in the OPIM assignment. I go to bed exhausted!
