Leadership in Action

Wharton's experiential culture provides a wide range of opportunities to put leadership into practice, both on campus and in the local community. Finding your leadership style takes work. It takes communications, teamwork, and collaboration. It takes trial and error, and a commitment to lifelong learning. It’s how you learn to make an impact. It’s how you inspire others, and inspire yourself.

Take a leadership role in one of Wharton's active student organizations. Challenge yourself on an intensive off-campus Leadership Venture. Test your entrepreneurial ideas in the annual Wharton Business Plan Competition. Gain real-world experience consulting with organizations in Philadelphia or in a developing country on the other side of the globe.

You’ll synthesize what you learn through feedback and exploration, Wharton’s method of leadership development. You’ll craft your own authentic leadership development plan and become the leader you were meant to be.
