Visit

If you're thinking about applying to Wharton, we encourage you to visit, which will give you a feel for the Wharton experience. Through a visit you can learn more about the admissions process, attend classes, meet with current students, and learn more about our diverse and collaborative culture. (Please note that campus visits have no bearing on an applicant's admissions decision.)

We welcome any questions you may have about the Wharton experience and visiting campus. We strongly encourage you to ask your questions on the student2student discussion forum, view our MBA Admissions Blog for the latest admissions news and policies, and to explore the Wharton experience through our student diaries.

The following is a list of Admissions Office programs designed to introduce you to the Wharton School.  Advance registration is recommended, although not required. We welcome visitors at any time.

Experience Wharton
Visiting Classes*

Observe Wharton's collaborative learning environment. A selection of classes are offered on a space-available basis. Casual attire is appropriate if you are not interviewing.

  • When:  Monday and Thursday at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., mid-September through mid-April. 
  • Where:  Come to the Admissions Office to review the course offerings and locations.
Campus Tour

Explore the campus from an MBA student's perspective.

  • When:  Monday, Thursday and Friday, 12:00 p.m. - 12:45 p.m., mid-September through mid-April.
  • Where:  Departs from Admissions Office reception area.
Lunch With Students*

Have lunch ("dutch treat") and talk with students

  • When: Monday and Thursday, 12:45 p.m. - 1:15 p.m., mid-September through mid-April.
  • Where: Meet in the Admissions Office reception area. 
Information Sessions

Talk with an Admissions Fellow, who will share highlights of the Wharton program and answer questions about the school and the application process.

  • When: During the academic year, information sessions will occur Monday, Thursday and Friday at 3:00 p.m.
  • Where: Meet in the Admissions Office reception area.
JD/MBA Program Information Sessions

Talk with the Associate Director, who will share highlights of the 3-year joint degree program and answer questions about Wharton, Penn Law, and the application process.

  • When: During the academic year, information sessions will occur Mondays
    at 4:00 p.m.
  • Where: Meet in the Admissions Office reception area.
MBA/MA Lauder Program Information Sessions

Talk with the Program Coordinator, who will share highlights of the joint degree program and answer questions about Wharton, Lauder, and the application process.

  • When: During the academic year, information sessions will occur Thursdays at 2:00 p.m.
  • Where: Meet in the Admissions Office reception area.
Happy Hour (MBA Pub)

Meet current students at the MBA Pub for casual conversation and refreshments.

  • When: Thursday, 4:30 p.m., mid-September through mid-April.
  • Where: Meet in the Admissions Office reception area.
  • Pre-Registration is REQUIRED to attend 

*MBA student hosts make an effort to point out relevant sights and locations as they escort prospective students to lunch and classes.
