Financial Aid Team
Lakeisha Bishop is the Director of Financial Aid and Senior Associate Director of Admissions and Financial Aid for the Wharton MBA Program.
Lakeisha has worked for the University of Pennsylvania for over five years. Before coming to Wharton, she was a Sales and Service Consultant for PNC Bank. Lakeisha’s primary responsibilities includes stewarding Wharton’s fellowship and grant resources, monitoring federal regulations, remaining current with changes in the student loan industry, and managing a team of three staff members. Lakeisha has a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Mathematics and Economics.
Tammy Carter is the Associate Director of Financial Aid.
Tammy has worked for the University of Pennsylvania for many years. Prior to working at Wharton, she was an Associate Director of Counseling in Student Financial Services. Tammy’s primary responsibilities include counseling, research and advising students on loan options. Tammy has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Sociology.
Tony Spigonardo is a Coordinator in the MBA Admissions and Financial Aid office and has been a part of the office since April of 2011.
Tony’s primary responsibilities include being a lead on the international student loan program, financial aid advising, and preparing statistical and data analysis for the office. He has his bachelor’s degree in Economics from Penn, and prior to working at the University he spent 3 years working in hedge fund operations and 1 year in mutual fund client services, in the Philadelphia area.
Rochelle Nicholson is the Financial Aid Coordinator for the Wharton MBA Program.
Rochelle has worked for the University of Pennsylvania for 14 years. Prior to working in Financial Aid, she was the Financial Administrative Coordinator and Assistant to the Director of Admissions and Financial Aid. Rochelle’s primary responsibilities include counseling, advising students on loan options and special projects within the office.
