About YouSolve

» YouSolve Analytics

yousolve screenshot The welcome screen exists as a catalog to a host of useful information. The right-hand side of the screen allows the user to navigate through an index of links to assignments and chapters uploaded by the professor, the most frequently read postings, recent solutions, recent comments, and solutions with the most comments. The left-hand side of the screen can provide a quick overview of all the problems for the class, the problems assigned to the student or the problems assigned to be reviewed by the student.

This information serves to document the progress of discussion. By viewing most frequently read postings or solutions with the most comments, students learn the kinds of responses that pique the interest of their peers. For professors, this information provides an active way to measure group participation. Futhermore, an administrative interface is available that enables professors to add/edit problems, assign groups to answer or review problems, and view reports on active classes. These reports tell the professor who has the accepted "best" answer and the number of comments users have entered.
