FEE INFORMATION

The cost of participating in the Global Immersion Program takes into account the travel costs and the number of anticipated students in each section. The expected per-person fee for 2006 is $5,000. This fee covers international and domestic group travel, ground transportation, overnight accommodations (including breakfasts), lectures, fees for services (interpreters, guides, etc.), and staff travel. The fee does not include:

  • Meals (except breakfast)
  • Personal phone, fax, laundry
  • Travel documents (passports, visas, photos, etc.)
  • Health insurance and immunizations
  • Individual excursions/side trips
  • Academic materials (books, bulkpacks, etc.)

Past participants recommend that participants plan to bring around $1,000 in personal funds on the study tour. Actual costs will depend on individual spending habits and the amount of travel during free time.
