Program Requirements

  • The intention to become a university professor. In most instances this will be in a business or law school.
  • Strong academic record.
  • Many, although not all, successful applicants will possess a law degree. Applicants who lack a law degree will usually have other training that is relevant to our program, such as ethical theory, business, or philosophy.
  • Strong GRE or GMAT scores. GRE scores are preferred, but GMAT scores are accepted.  

Admission to Candidacy

 Before admission to candidacy, the student is required to:

  • Complete all required coursework, including all core courses.  
  • Take and pass 2 written core examinations.
  • Provide a research paper by end of year 2.
