Admissions

Admission to the Wharton Doctoral Programs is extremely selective to ensure that you work closely with faculty and structure your own programs of study.

In assessing your application, the admissions committee considers your previous academic work, your standardized graduate examination performance (GMAT or GRE), and the evaluations of instructors and professional supervisors. PhD students begin their studies in September only.

Further information on Wharton's doctoral degree requirements and financial regulations can be found in the University's graduate academic bulletins, available online at: Office of Graduate Studies Graduate Rules & Regulations.
