Expenses & Financial Aid

All admitted Wharton doctoral students receive a fellowship that covers the cost of tuition and health insurance, and provides a stipend. It is expected that a similar level of financial aid may be awarded for up to 5 years. All financial aid awards are contingent upon a student's satisfactory academic progress.

Tuition for the academic year 2011 – 2012 is $26,660 plus the general fees and health insurance.

All applicants are responsible for the non-refundable $80 application fee, which must be paid before any action can be taken on an application. The application fee cannot be waived, there are no exceptions. This payment must be made online by credit card via the online application.
