Wharton only accepts online applications submitted via our online application system. The system walks you through the required steps, including electronically submitted transcripts, recommendations, and essays.
Once you've registered and created a username and password, you can work on your essays and information and save your work over many sessions, before submitting your final application.
When you apply online, you can check the status of your application electronically at any time.

Application System Requirements
You will need a web browser that has Javascript activated; supported web browsers include Internet Explorer 5 and above, Netscape 6 and above, Safari (for Macintosh users), and Mozilla Firefox 1. Do not use AOL's internal browser. Pop-up blockers should be disabled.
In addition to a compatible browser, you will need the free Adobe Reader to access certain documents. If you wish to use the Transcript Template to speed processing of your application, you will also need to have access to Microsoft Excel 97 or higher.
Reminders: When completing your application, please be mindful of the following:Country of Citizenship: If you have dual citizenship, please list the citizenship that you consider primary.
Test Scores: Please self-report your GMAT or GRE and TOEFL scores in the space provided. Record both the score and the percentile ranking.
Transcripts: The following Self-Reported Transcript Form (requires Microsoft Excel 97 or higher) can be downloaded and completed prior to submitting an Online Application. Once you are ready to apply online, the system will allow you to upload your completed form.
Optional Information: The University of Pennsylvania seeks to draw students from all racial and ethnic groups. The information requested in the "Optional Information" section of the application will be used to evaluate the effectiveness of our efforts to recruit and select a diverse student body. This information is confidential and completely voluntary. Providing this information may make you eligible for certain fellowships.
