A Global Hub
The San Francisco-based facility is Wharton's first permanent location outside of Philadelphia. In conjunction with the School's strategic Alliance with INSEAD, Wharton West provides extended capabilities to partner with global businesses and develop and deliver top-quality management education in Europe and Asia, as well as the East and West Coasts of the U.S.

Fully Connected Campus
Occupying the top two floors of the historic Folger Building, the Wharton West Campus was renovated in 2001 to be functionally similar to Jon M. Huntsman Hall in Philadelphia. The advanced academic facilities include two 60-seat, tiered classrooms and one flat 90-seat classroom, as well as dining space, group study rooms, and faculty and administrative offices.

The classrooms in Philadelphia and San Francisco were designed with faculty input to maximize learning. They are connected to one another and the world through Internet2, making video conferencing available from every study room. Wharton technological innovations include teaching tools such as the Wharton lectern, which allows professors to access customized simulation software, files, presentations, and personal settings from any Wharton classroom, and research tools like WRDS data services currently licensed by the top business schools in the world.
