Student Groups

Outside the classroom, Wharton offers unlimited opportunities for personal and professional growth. Students develop leadership and team skills pursuing their interests through dozens of organizations, including career and professional societies, conference programs, sports clubs, and community outreach. Activities are student driven, and new initiatives are always welcomed.

MBA students can choose among more than 100 professional, social, cultural, and community service groups. Professional groups center on media and entertainment, private equity, real estate, public interest, finance, marketing; and many others. Students also organize lectures and the seminars of the Wharton Conference Series. Sports and social clubs run the gamut from Wharton Wildmen Hockey to the Wine Club to Wharton Dance Studio. There's also plenty to do in the public interest, using either business tools or other skills, for those interested in community outreach.

In addition to their own 30-plus groups, Wharton undergraduates participate in some 300 University-wide organizations, as well as Penn student government and athletic teams.
