The Second Year MBA Class Pledge program is an opportunity for Wharton students to graduate not only with their degree but into a community of philanthropists whose generosity continues to build this institution, year after year. The campaign is implemented by student volunteers and has met with tremendous success since its inception.
The MBA Class Pledge contributes to the Wharton Fund, which provides support for some of the most important initiatives at the School, including student aid and faculty resources.
In 2006, the combined pledge from the full-time MBA for executives programs and MBA for Executives (both East and West Coast) surpassed the $1 million mark for the second year in a row, with an overall participation rate of almost 90%.
