Dear Wharton West Alumni and Students:
The Wharton School opened its doors 125 years ago as the first collegiate school of business. With a steadfast commitment to expanding the horizons of business education across the globe, in 2002 the School expanded its outreach to establish Wharton West in San Francisco. A base for faculty to conduct research with a broad range of industries, a platform for executive education for senior executives from top companies, and home to a new cohort of our MBA Program for Executives, Wharton West has been one of the most successful efforts in the School’s history.
As Wharton commemorates these two anniversaries, I am pleased to invite you to join me along with Wharton faculty and administrators, in San Francisco for the Wharton West reunion for MBAExec West alumni, students and their guests, November 4-5, 2006. This will be a wonderful opportunity to meet with your classmates and Wharton West alumni, and to see how the program continues to grow as a unique part of the Wharton School’s mission.
The Wharton West reunion promises to be a great weekend. Saturday, November 4, will feature a 1980s themed gala at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, with performances by the popular ‘80s band, Tainted Love. The festivities will include an extensive menu and martini bar, and will serve as an ideal atmosphere for alumni and students to reengage with one another and share stories of their experiences at Wharton West. On Sunday, November 5, a brunch for the entire family will be held as the weekend comes to a close.
I hope that you will take part in the celebration of the Wharton School’s 125 th anniversary and the 5 th anniversary of Wharton West. I look forward to seeing you in San Francisco.
Sincerely,
 Patrick T. Harker
