The 30th Annual Alumni Run/Walk
37th Street and Locust Walk (Starting and Finishing Line)

The Run/Walk follows a 5K course through campus and is open to all alumni, students, faculty/staff and their families.  Registration begins at 7:30 AM at the David Pottruck Health and Fitness Center (3701 Walnut Street); post-race festivities and awards ceremony will be held at 9:45 AM.  For brochure or more information, visit the Department of Recreation website, http://www.upenn.edu/recreation or by calling 215.898.6100.

Throughout the day, children’s entertainment will be provided, including a magician, balloon artist, face painter and more.  Children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.  Room will be stocked with children’s games, coloring books, arts and crafts, entertainment and kid-friendly snacks.

Family Trip to the Academy of Natural Sciences
1900 Benjamin Franklin Parkway

The Academy of Natural Sciences is Philadelphia’s Natural History Museum and the oldest continuously operating natural science research institution and museum in the Americas.  Tour includes a private booking of “Dig for Dinos”, a private tour of “Outside In”, and of the “Butterflies” exhibit.

Attendees should meet at the Main Lobby of the Museum to receive their tickets. Admission includes access to Museum until close.

Enjoy a fun and informational tour of the City of Philadelphia.  You’ll visit all of the historical hot spots, as well as learn all about what makes Philadelphia such a great city, today.  While you ride we will provide you with some of Philly’s finest treats, original soft pretzels and Tastykakes!
