Dear Wharton Alumni:

This is an exciting time for the Wharton School. This year marks the 125th anniversary of our founding as the first collegiate business school in the world. We are celebrating that milestone on campus and around

the world with a thoughtful look back at our roots as an institution, the contributions we have made to the global practice of business and a renewed commitment to continuing a proud tradition of excellence.

In just the last five years, we have celebrated a remarkable range of major achievements at Wharton, including the opening of Huntsman Hall as the heart of our academic enterprise; our expansion to the West Coast with programs to serve new audiences for our MBA and executive education programs; the formation of an international partnership with INSEAD; and, of course, the education of the world’s finest students for their roles in a transformed and continually changing global market. These examples are only a few of the many recent advancements in our programs and their impact around the world. Wharton’s global presence is stronger than ever and offers our alumni a rich array of resources to benefit their professional and personal lives.

I hope that you will be a part of our on-campus celebration of the 125th anniverary by returning to our Philadelphia campus for Wharton’s MBA Reunion Weekend, May 11-14, 2006. The weekend includes a host of receptions, parties and dinners, as well as informative sessions led by renowned Wharton faculty and alumni. This year’s program of events is our largest ever, and offers a wealth of opportunities for you to reconnect with your classmates and to experience firsthand the exciting developments at the School.

I look forward to greeting you, your families and classmates when you return for Reunion Weekend this May.

Sincerely,

Patrick T. Harker
Dean, The Wharton School
