The easiest way to make a gift to the Wharton Fund is through the School’s secure, online giving page.

Credit Card Gifts

Wharton accepts major credit cards including American Express, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.
Credit card gifts can be made online at www.wharton.upenn.edu/giving.html or by calling Alumni Affairs at +1.215.898.8478.

Securities / Stocks

For securities held by a broker:

Fax a letter of intent (fax number: +1.215.898.2695) to the Wharton School indicating:

Intent to make a gift of securities
Type and number of shares being transferred
Purpose of the gift (Wharton Fund, named scholarship, endowment, etc.)

Please ask your broker contact the University’s Trust Administration Office for transfer instructions. The University of Pennsylvania has many brokerage firms, and Trust Administration can provide the appropriate account number.

If the stock or bond is in certificate form, mail the unendorsed certificate in one envelope and a signed stock power in a separate envelope to:
