Gideon has managed venture funds since 1982, in the US and in Israel. He served as a military pilot in the Israel Air Force; holds a B.Sc. in aeronautical engineering, an MBA from Wharton and a Ph.D. in history. Gideon serves on the Wharton School's International Executive Board.
