Dr. Patrick T. Harker is the Dean of the Wharton School , the Reliance Professor of Management and Private Enterprise, and Professor of Operations and Information Management, as well as a Senior Fellow at the Wharton Financial Institutions Center . In 1986, the National Science Foundation, affirming his reputation as a leading scholar in the areas of service operations, technology management, and operations research, named him a Presidential Young Investigator. In his career, he has published five books and over 80 professional articles.
