Wharton's summer programs for high school students and international undergraduates provide an opportunity to develop leadership skills and explore your interest in business.

LEAD Program

Leadership, Education, and Development (LEAD) is a four-week program introducing minority high school students to key areas of business. First established at Wharton and reflecting a long-standing commitment to developing business leaders through business education, the LEAD program has become a nationwide initiative with programs at ten other universities.

Leadership in the Business World

Leadership in the Business World (LBW) is a summer business institute for rising high school seniors who want an introduction to the fundamentals of leadership in business. LBW students attend classes at Wharton. This four-week summer program features classes, trips, and activities designed to give students opportunities to learn about leadership in 21st century business organizations.

Management & Technology Summer Institute

The Management & Technology Summer Institute (M&TSI) is a for-credit summer program for rising high school seniors who want to learn how to bring together technological concepts and management principles. The Institute features classes taught by leading Wharton faculty and successful entrepreneurs, as well as laboratory experience, field trips to companies and R&D facilities, intensive team projects, and other activities designed to help students learn the principles and practice of technological innovation. Sponsored jointly by The Jerome Fisher Program in Management and Technology, the School of Engineering and Applied Science, and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Summer Institute in Business & Technology

The Summer Institute in Business & Technology (SIBT) is a four-week summer program for globally-minded undergraduates enrolled full-time in universities abroad, as well as in the U.S.
