Undergraduate interdisciplinary study is integral to the Wharton and Penn experience every Wharton student follows an innovative curriculum that integrates a full business curriculum with liberal arts, teaching real-world skills in leadership, innovative thinking, and problem solving. The Huntsman Program in International Studies & Business is unique joint-degree program in business, language, and the liberal arts prepares students for careers in international business, law, diplomacy, and journalism. Focusing on international studies and area studies, students develop the perspective needed for success in an increasingly global economy.

Wharton's joint-degree Program in Nursing & Health Care Management reflects the growing role that business plays in today's health care environment. Students gain experience in patient care as well as in business and managerial areas. - Roy and Diana Vagelos Program in Life Sciences and Management
Wharton's newest interdisciplinary program, the Roy and Diana Vagelos Program in Life Sciences and Management, allows students to combine a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School with a science concentration from the College of Arts & Sciences, or a Bachelor of Arts in a science major from the College of Arts & Sciences with a Wharton concentration.
All students participate in a common core course, an upper-division science research project, and internships in both science and business. The innovative curriculum, fusing science and management education, prepares students for careers in such rapidly expanding fields as pharmaceuticals and biotechnology.

Joseph H. Lauder Institute of Management and International Studies (MBA/MA)
The Lauder Program prepares future business leaders by integrating the Wharton MBA program with an MA program in international studies from the School of Arts and Sciences of the University of Pennsylvania. The MA in international studies emphasizes cross-cultural competency and advanced language competency students concentrate in one of eight languages, preparing them for global leadership.

Dual-Degree Programs
Select from Penn's graduate and professional schools of outstanding reputation combining professional skills and business expertise. Each year approximately 40 Wharton students pursue a dual degree. In general a dual degree requires one year less than it would take to pursue the two degrees separately.
- Wharton/School of Advanced International Studies (MBA/MA)
This 3-year, MBA/MA dual-degree program prepares students to operate in business and the international political environment. Students earn an MBA from Wharton and an MA in international relations from the Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) of The Johns Hopkins University, a program that has pioneered area studies and the integration of international politics and economics.

Executive Program
The Executive Master's in Technology Management Program (EMTM) prepares engineers and scientists for leadership roles in technology-based organizations. Graduates receive a Master's of Science in Engineering (MSE) from Penn Engineering. The program is co-sponsored by the Wharton School.
